CATL, the world's largest battery manufacturer, revealed that its all-solid-state battery technology is currently at level 4 out of 9 on the technology readiness scale, meaning it is still in the laboratory and prototype development stage.
The company stated that large-scale commercial production requires reaching level 9, making widespread adoption unlikely before 2030.
