Adjusting Refrigerant and Oil Levels

I have a Leopard 8, and it's supposed to hold 1800 grams of refrigerant, but it was marked as 1600 grams in the hood. I found mine at 1400 grams and increased it to 1800 when I installed an additional fan from EVS.

The oil was at 45 grams, so I added an extra 10 grams to bring it to 55 grams total.

The fan is really for the motor and batteries more than the AC

Air Conditioning and the Additional Fan Performance

Thank God, my AC is excellent and cold from the moment you turn it on. I'm in Al Ain, UAE, and the heat reached 48°C here, and the AC performs beautifully.

Their fan made a big difference combined with the increased refrigerant and oil, though honestly the fan only really kicks in during extreme heat and after extended use.

The Fan's True Role: Cooling the Battery and Motor

The fan operates at different speeds via a thermostat on the radiator outlet. What really made the difference is cooling the battery and motor during operation. It's made a significant impact because I monitor the battery and motor temperatures closely. Bottom line: the fan is really for the motor and batteries more than the AC.

Appreciation for Community Support

Thank God and thanks to everyone for creating this group where we can share experience and knowledge and help each other out. Honestly, without you all, I wouldn't know how to properly handle these Chinese cars.
