This new option will replace the existing 75 kWh pack for the base model, narrowing the gap between standard and long-range variants. Developed by Geely, the "Golden Brick" battery features short "blade" cells with an expected lifespan of 1,000,000 km and 3,500 charging cycles, along with enhanced thermal runaway protection. The updated model is expected to deliver over 700 km of CLTC range, positioning it directly against the Li Auto i6 SUV, which reaches 720 km with its 87.3 kWh LFP battery.
